I relocated to london in december of 2019, a few short months before the covid pandemic. my goal is to be closer to the architectural and artistic beauty of Europe. In craft, my ETHOS is simple. I pursue the magical, the wonderful, the unique, and the pure - but above all, my own work.

My fundamental goal within design is purpose. I want the end user to feel the object not only fulfills it’s intended function, but does so with grace, style, and distinction. I work very hard to create connection between the object and the user.

another huge factor for me is Time - a concept humankind has been fixated ON since the dawn of consciousness. I always try to remind myself that the time I spend with a creation is so short compared to the life it has after it is brought to existence. Wherever or with whoever the considered piece rests after I have made it, it lives there, under someone else’s watch. They love it, dissect it, praise or curse it. Regardless of this, it isn’t mine anymore. I am often even forgotten as it’s creator. But what about the passage of time? And the toll this has on the creation itself? This should be equally considered. Respect for the passage of time is what divides a true craftsmanship from novelty.

As a human, I am aware I only have so long on this planet, and of this gift - a finite amount will be spent on my craft. Because of this, there is none to waste on second grade work, or creations without passion. No projects will be executed that I cannot stand behind and call my own. This is also why you will find here, on this website, a vast diversity of works.

Sometimes ideas can feel like poison, they need to be expelled from your system before you can think clearly again. For me, there is an overwhelming urge to expel these ideas tirelessly. It is knowing undiscovered inspiration is folded, crammed, tucked, and hidden in the depths of my person waiting to be brought to the light that drives me.

A bit about my history.:

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania, USA. Around the age of 19, whilst studying business, I started making jeans for myself since I was so tall (6’5’’). I kept with it, eventually moving to Philadelphia and working for BDDW as an upholsterer learning about a new world of high end goods.

At 23 I quit my job and started a men’s denim business. Soon after I started a furniture company with my brother called conowingo americas. I found I could utilize the same workshop and tools to diversify the items I was capable of producing. I handled restaurant commissions as well as producing my own pieces. During this time I wore every hat they make, and some I made myself. I have accomplished sewing expertise as well as leather working and furniture construction skills.

Since moving to London I have continued to pursue both these crafts. I am still taking on commissioned furniture and design my own collections. I have a workshop in London - E7 where I practice my craft. Please do get in touch if you have an interesting project.
